Pine Car Progress: Three more cars

This is my 3rd year as Race Director and I still have not earned my Advanced Pinecar Honor.  So this year is it!  The Mercury is my Unlimited class entry, a full 10 inches long!  7 inches is regulation.  The Vanderbilt and the 49er are my Pro Modified class entries.  They will have heavily modified wheels.  And the 20th Century is my Pro Stock entry for Adults and Staff.  The wheel tread must remain stock for this class.

The Mercury

Unlimited class, made of Styrofoam.

The Vanderbilt and 49er.

The FINISHED Bed

For all of you who wondered if I ever finished that bed, the answer is YES I DID!

Back from a long absence

Well it time to start this blogging thing back up. We will see how it goes.

Pinewood Derby Time! We call it Pine Car Derby since we are not Cub Scouts.  Our Pathfinder Club is hosting again in Sacramento CA and expect 200 entries this year.  What a zoo.  So as Race Director I must have a car to enter, right?

Behold! The 20th CenturyDreyfuss Hudson!
